A new gluing machine has been installed at leading folded cartons manufacturer Boxes Linde to enhance its production flexibility and increase efficiency.

The Dutch firm invested in the Bobst Media II machine to expand capacity and further improve service to its food and non-food sector clients.

The company, which is a subsidiary of the international Clondalkin Group, specialises in short-runs with fast turnarounds, and the new Bobst gluer will significantly increase its production speeds.

Based near Enschede, Netherlands, Boxes Linde offers decades of experience in virtually every folding carton variety.

Production processes include foil-blocking, window-patching, embossing, cutting, folding and gluing. Boxes Linde also utilises a wide variety of specialised lacquers to complement its excellent printing capabilities. It also has a full pre-press and design department.

Boxes Linde Operations Manager Ken Haan said: “The Bobst gluer increases production efficiency by reducing set up times and thereby improving production quality.

“We are well-known for our high production and quality assurance standards. The faster turnaround speeds on all client projects achieved through this investment will enhance this reputation, through quicker and better service.”
